President Trump broke a record tonight by having nearly a two-hour speech… This speech broke the record set by Bill Clinton during the 2000 State of the Union speech. The President did an amazing job tonight despite all of the noisy heckling and downright disturbances from the Democrats in the chamber. The contrast could not be sharper… The President highlighting the families of those killed by criminal illegal aliens… even going as far as signing an order to rename a wildlife sanctuary in honor of a murder victim, the families of slain police officers and even a young cancer patient who always dreamed of being a police officer who tonight was made an honorary Secret Service agent and one young man whose application to West Point has been accepted! The contrast could not be sharper with the President identifying with real Americans while the Democrats maintained a rotten, disrespectful attitude throughout the entire evening even going so far as congressman Al Green of Texas having to be removed from the chamber for being so disruptive! He’s wanted to impeach every president since George W. Bush and probably has done nothing for his constituents that will be of lasting memory!
The most controversial policy item on the President’s agenda is his tariffs policy, specifically with regard to Canada and Mexico. How would they impact the US economy. The Left and its media allies would have you believe that tariffs are bad for this country and sometimes they do have a negative economic impact, but our wonderful President is a man who knows how to play multi-dimensional chess… He knows strategy… Think of Teddy Roosevelt and the “carrot and stick” approach. The tariffs are the “stick” until we in the US get the “carrots” (what we want from other countries) and encouraging domestic businesses to move more production processes back to the US. Issues are negotiated and resolved. It is simplicity itself and it’s a beautiful thing to behold! The road to the golden era of America may have a few bumps in it from time to time over the next four years but if as a nation trust God and trust Trump, it’s a safe bet that we’ll like the destination we arrive at 4 years from now!
